New Website Launch: Cronin Hardwood Floors — A Premium WordPress Redesign by Motion Monsters

The Client

Cronin Hardwood Floors is a Northern New Jersey flooring contractor with over 30 years of professional experience. Founded by John Cronin, who began in the industry in 1990, the company has built its reputation almost entirely on referrals — a reliable signal of the quality and trust that defines their work.

Based in South Hackensack, NJ, Cronin Hardwood Floors serves homeowners, contractors, and designers across the Tri-State area: Bergen County, Hudson County, Essex County, Passaic County, Morris County, Ocean County, Staten Island, Rockland County, and Manhattan. From suburban homes in Northern New Jersey to apartments in the city, their team handles the full range — hardwood floor refinishing, dustless sanding, custom staining, installation, repairs, custom stair tread work, and Warmboard radiant heat panel installation.

The work is precise, specialist, and long-standing. What was missing was a website that reflected that.

The Brief

The objective was clear: redevelop the Cronin Hardwood Floors website to establish a modern, premium, and professional online presence that matched the quality of the company’s actual work.

The previous site was not doing that job. It lacked the structure, visual credibility, and content depth that a business of this standing deserves — and that potential clients expect before picking up the phone.

The project scope covered:

  • Full website redevelopment — a mobile-responsive design with improved structure, user experience, and premium visual direction
  • Content expansion — service content rewritten and expanded across all core service areas
  • Google Reviews integration — surfacing social proof directly on the site
  • Photo gallery — showcasing finished flooring projects for residential and commercial clients
  • Technical SEO foundations — laying the groundwork for future organic search performance, with ongoing SEO as a separate future phase
  • Promo video page — placeholder prepared for Cronin's upcoming promotional video

The Process

This was a collaborative project from brief to launch. Megan from Cronin Hardwood Floors worked closely with Declan and Thara from the Motion Monsters team throughout the design and content development phase, using a shared Google Doc to manage feedback, content alignment, and page-by-page refinements.

That iterative approach — real collaboration rather than isolated rounds of feedback — is what keeps content accurate and on-brand. Discussions covered specific content decisions: the Warmboard product section, the structure of the service pages, and the placeholder approach for the promo video.

The site was built on WordPress using Elementor, giving Cronin a flexible, maintainable platform they can manage going forward without developer dependency.

After finalizing content and completing the review process, the website went live on June 16, 2026.

What Was Built

Homepage

The homepage establishes the brand positioning immediately: a premium NJ flooring contractor serving the Tri-State area since 2002, with owner involvement on every project and over 30 years of experience behind the team. The structure moves visitors efficiently from introduction to services to consultation — with a clear phone number (201-807-1501) and contact CTA present throughout.

Key sections include:

  • Company positioning and service territory overview
  • What sets Cronin apart — owner involvement, dustless sanding systems, expert stain matching, reliable scheduling
  • Full services overview with individual sections for refinishing, dustless sanding, installation, and repairs
  • Warmboard radiant heat panel section
  • Why refinishing is worth it — benefits clearly laid out for homeowners
  • Consultation request section with service breakdown
  • FAQ section addressing the most common client questions
  • Google Reviews integration
  • Contact footer with full address and dual phone numbers

Services

The services section was expanded and restructured to cover each offering clearly and individually:

  • Hardwood floor refinishing
  • Dustless floor sanding (99% dust-free containment systems)
  • Custom stain color matching
  • Hardwood floor installation — including solid, engineered, prefinished, unfinished, luxury vinyl, herringbone, parquet, custom borders and inlays
  • Custom stair tread installation and replacement
  • Warmboard radiant heat panel installation
  • Google Reviews integration
  • Hardwood floor repairs — board replacement, water damage repair, floor weaving

Products

A dedicated products section for Warmboard radiant floor heating systems — energy-efficient, designed for long-term comfort, and compatible with the hardwood floor installation services Cronin provides.

About

John Cronin’s background is front and center: started as a sander in 1990, progressed through installation and project management, and founded Cronin Hardwood Floors in 2002. The company’s referral-led growth is highlighted as the clearest indicator of sustained quality.

Promo Video

A placeholder page prepared for Cronin’s upcoming promotional video — ready to receive the final content without a redesign when it’s available.

Contact

Full contact page with address (80 Leuning Street, South Hackensack, NJ 07606), dual phone numbers, and a consultation request form.

The Result

The new croninhardwoodfls.com is a professional, premium, mobile-responsive website that accurately reflects the quality and experience behind the Cronin Hardwood Floors name.

For a business that has grown primarily through referrals, the website now serves a different but equally important function: it validates the recommendation. When a satisfied client refers Cronin to a homeowner, the first thing that homeowner does is look at the website. What they find now is a site that builds confidence immediately — clear services, real credentials, strong social proof, and a straightforward path to booking a consultation.

The technical foundations are in place for a future SEO campaign, giving Cronin a credible base to build organic visibility across their target markets in Northern New Jersey and the wider Tri-State area.

WordPress Website Design in NYC & New Jerseyces

Motion Monsters created a new WordPress website for Nicholson Construction Solutions Corp, a boutique construction management and general contracting firm based in New York, NY. The website was designed to support the company’s brand launch, communicate its services clearly, and create a polished first impression for high-end residential and condominium clients.

Nicholson Construction Solutions Corp is based in New York, NY 10017. The company serves the New York construction market, with a focus on high-end residential renovations, luxury condominium buildouts, select commercial projects, construction management, general contracting, preconstruction planning, quality control, finishes, and architectural coordination.

NCS needed a new website because it was launching as a new brand while carrying forward more than 20 years of senior-level construction experience. The website had to make the company feel credible from day one, clearly communicate its services, and avoid looking like a generic contractor website.

WordPress was used because it gives the client flexibility, control, and room to grow. For a construction firm, WordPress supports service pages, future case studies, SEO content, leadership profiles, and updates over time. When planned properly, it is a strong platform for service-based businesses.

The website avoids generic construction imagery and focuses instead on architectural detail, refined visuals, clear content, and confident positioning. Rather than relying on hard hats, clipboards, and stock photography, the site presents NCS as a premium, senior-led construction firm operating in the New York market.

NCS provides construction management, general contracting, preconstruction and planning, quality control, finishes, and architectural coordination. The company works across high-end residential renovations, luxury condominium buildouts, and select commercial projects where planning, communication, and finish quality are essential.

SEO helps construction companies appear for relevant searches when potential clients are researching services online. Strong SEO can support visibility for terms related to construction management, general contracting, residential renovations, preconstruction planning, and location-specific services.

The NCS website was built with SEO structure in mind. This included clear service messaging, logical page structure, location relevance, and content designed to help both users and search engines understand the business.
